Our Cruise Vessels

Oceanic Discoverer, formerly Oceanic Princess has been purpose built for comfort and safety and is large enough to provide the luxury and convenience of larger cruise ships yet with just 72 passengers is small enough to enable to access to sites beyond the reach of many of the larger vessels. Oceanic Discoverer excursions are aboard the specially designed excursion vessel "Xplorer", two zodiacs and a spacious glass bottom coral viewing boat. Whether your interest is natural history, wildlife, geology, early exploration, culture, snorkelling, coral viewing, scuba diving or just relaxing a Coral Princess Cruise is for you!

Coral Princess and Coral Princess II offer exclusive 3, 4 and 7 night Great Barrier Reef cruise itineraries from Cairns or Townsville that introduce the very best of the Great Barrier Reef and Islands including exclusive reef moorings, a Rainforest experience on Dunk Island and our very own uninhabited tropical island, Pelorus.

Oceanic Discoverer

Our new multi-million dollar ship has recently been built at NQEA Australia in Cairns. The ship carries 72 passengers in 36 cabins and has a cruising speed of 14 knots. The shallow draft of the 63m ship allows it to access the isolated places that Coral Princess is famed for visiting.

Coral Princess

Commissioned in July 1988, our custom-made Coral Princess is 35 metres in length and carries just 50 passengers and has created the basis for what we are today. Coral Princess is based on the Barrier Reef for 6 months of the year, and then undertakes our cruise itineraries in The Kimberley region and new for 2005, she will also operate as part of our 2005 Cape York program.

Coral Princess II
